Working in the film industry, these stands are an absolute must have. You can't visit a "set" without seeing a bunch of these standing around. Take them apart, chuck them in the back of the car, and save some space! The only "complaint" I have is the locking mechanism of the feet. The screw sometimes get's undone while moving them on set. It's not really a "problem" but just something to be aware of. Other than that, highly recommended!

This C stand is Solid

It does what any other C stand does...Only better, The base is super snug and secure, over all quality is unmatched. very easily portable, Its slightly shorter than other C stands when Collapsed which makes it much easier in transport.
When supporting my Aputure 1200D at height, I don't like to compromise on quality. This stand is Rock solid!

I considered buying a cheap C-stand online for my first C-stand but after getting some advice from people in the industry, I was told to buy one that would outlast any light and be still useful in two decades. There were three brands that were recommended to me and Avenger was one of them.
The detachable leg is essential for anyone who wants to be able to transport their stand it in the backseat of a car, without needing to knock the seats down.
