The Mipro ACT-800T 5UA is a digital UHF bodypack transmitter, designed for use with Mipro ACT-800 Series receivers, that can be combined with any external lavalier mic or headset. A bodypack for everybody

The Mipro ACT-800T UHF bodypack transmitter has a 4-pin mini XLR connector, allowing singers and speakers to hook up a lavalier microphone or headset of their choice. But it's not just vocalists who'll be well served by this bodypack – it's also compatible with instruments such as guitars. Among the transmitter's features for flexible performances are a mute button and an MT/GT switch for adjusting the sensitivity; further parameters can be changed using the SET button. The 800T has a removable belt clip that allows the bodypack to be attached securely and comfortably to a pocket or belt, and with an operating time of up to 12 hours, it has enough in the tank to stay there from the soundcheck through to the encore. Besides recharging the li-on battery included here via the USB cable it ships with, the 800T, like many devices in the 800 Series, can also be charged with one of Mipro's dedicated charging stations.

The Mipro ACT-800T 5UA is just one part of an entire wireless ecosystem designed for professionals who require high-quality, reliable signal transmission for their events. Because the 800 Series functions entirely digitally – which also means there's no distortion – the distance between transmitter and receiver has no effect on the signal quality, guaranteeing a stable signal–noise ratio, even at long range. The Auto Channel Targeting function – which is what ACT stands for here – enables automatic frequency synchronisation, eliminating the need for manual tuning and allowing the system to be ready in seconds. The receiver retains the frequency setting until the ACT function is used again, even after being powered off. All parameters are clearly visible on the colour LCD screen, which is easily readable from any viewing angle.

High-end signal with the right receivers

Of course, every transmitter needs a receiver – fortunately, all the receivers in the Mipro 800 Series are very straightforward to set up and intuitive to use. Mipro's SmartEQ can adjust the audio signal's frequency response automatically, while ten user presets simulate different microphone capsules. In total, transmission is possible on 224 preset channels in seven groups. The system's dynamic range is 115 dBA, with a transmission latency of less than 2.7ms; this is primarily the result of the high-quality A/D converter, which also effectively eliminates high-level, high-frequency saturation and distortion. Diversity capability not only prevents dropouts but also increases each device's reception range, ensuring top-class signal quality for every transmission.
