Terrible power supply
Liukke 23.08.2020
It does its job, quite loud and simple to install.
Very very tiny, I was impressed.

The pot is non-linear which is a shame, since I planned to use it for tiny home studio applications and having a bit more control on the volume would have been amazing...but after just some degrees of turn it's quite loud and hard to replicate the exact same volume on different days.

The worst part is probably the power supply which caused a serious whining noise through my equipment which resulted in unhearable recordings.

I changed it with a Electroharmonix 5mm which sounds way better and extremely clean (electronically speaking).

As long as they ship the item with such poor power supplies it's a waste of money.
And as always biggest appreciation to Thomann for the easiness of return.

Loud as f**k
Herr vonundzu 21.03.2018
Played into a Marshall 212 and even at 9 o'clock it is too loud for bedroom use. So as a stage set up it will be perfect. With the volume down on the preamp pedal there were great tones and safe volume to be had. A very clear sound and haven't driven it to break up levels yet. Best played on warm setting if you want bedroom sounds that won't annoy your neighbours. Bright would be perfect for recording or live work.

incredible

I bought this product in order to reduce my equipment, and partially out of curiosity. I've integrated it on my pedalboard and then I simply connect my pedalboard to a 4x12 marshall cab. What can I say, it is loud as hell! It looks strange now to have a cab behind without a head on it, but who cares! You can leave your expensive cabs at home and gig with this small monster. Incredible purchase!

Amazing piece of gear
LaurensGm 27.12.2021
Probably one of my most useful pedals. Combine this with one of Mooer's preamp pedals, or any other preamp pedal or modeler and it will instantly give you enough volume for practice through a 212 or 412. The bright switch can help you cut through if needed, though I like to set up my tones in the warm mode in general.

Feels very sturdy and has withstood quite some abuse.
Beware, the volume gets very loud very fast ;p

Great little unit.
Phil the blues 19.01.2022
Bought this to put my Zoom G5N straight into a speaker cab to set up sounds prior to recording.
It is LOUD! The pedal could be used as a back up amp. Sounds are clean enough and both the channels give good sounds, but there is some hum at higher volume.

Good little amp
UPTOWNGIRL 09.03.2024
I have two of these. I used them with a valve preamp for guitar and bass. Only thing I don’t like is the annoying thump through the speaker on power up. Also if the volume is up when powering on it won’t power up and just keeps thump thump thump until the volume is decreased at which point it then powers up. It isn’t a fault exactly as they both do it, but annoying, and not very speaker friendly. Sound is good, and very loud if needed, could easily get over drums. I could see this being a very useful emergency amp or tagged onto a pedal board for a lightweight rig.

Good as a back up for my head onstage. Plenty of power, though can be a bit noisy

What a small monster
filtr 21.11.2017
I bought this one to get rid of my big power amp. I am absolutely satisfied, although it does not provide many sound managing options, I use equaliser to do it separately. I recommend this to anyone, who wants to minimise the weight of the gear, when performing frequently.

So much power in such a tiny box
Enrico75 14.09.2018
A must have for any gigging guitarist. Any problem with your amp? The baby bomb is there to save the day. I tried with a 4x12 speaker from Marshall and at 30% of the volume it wasn?t possible to stay in the room. It?s a great power section (maybe in combination with one of Mooer?s preamps) for a any situation
