Full-scale combo for rehearsals, stage, and studio

Mooer is widely considered a specialist for miniaturised effect units, and indeed anything compact, practical and, above all, affordable. The Mooer SD 75 modelling combo, however, is the Chinese company's first fully-fledged – and extremely luxuriously equipped – guitar combo, designed to deliver top performance in a huge range of situations, thanks to its 75W power amp, 12" speaker, and huge number of amp simulations and effects. It combines 25 high-quality reproductions of legendary guitar amps from past and present with 28 different effects, with a looper with a 150-second recording memory and a drum machine just waiting to be used. It also boasts a memory bank to store up to 40 individually fine-tuned sounds, as well as an illuminated display, a tuner, and the option of listening to backing tracks via a Bluetooth connection or conventionally via an AUX-in.

No confusing menus

The user interface of the Mooer SD 75 combo is intuitive and easy to get to grips with. It comes preinstalled with 25 authentic-sounding amp models, which are based on Mooer's renowned digital preamp technology, and as such capable of delivering an extremely wide range of dynamically playable sounds, from radiant clean sounds to a full high-gain onslaught. A four-band EQ means the sound can be further adjusted according to personal taste, while a collection of the most important delay, reverb, and modulation effects can also help add the finishing touches to each individual tone, with eight distortion models on board too. And as if that weren't enough, guitarists can also loop in their favourite pedals via the SD 75's serial effects loop.

The full Monty

The affordable price will allow beginners, in particular, to immediately immerse themselves in the world of amp simulations and effects – and without feeling like they're missing anything. With Bluetooth connectivity, it's also quick and easy to record playback tracks for practising with, or simply to use the amp to listen to music (for which the SD 75 also has a headphone connection). There's a balanced XLR output as well, to directly hook up a mixer or computer for silent recording, as well as a connection for an additional speaker if a little more "oomph" is required when playing live. Last but not least, the package also include a footswitch, meaning there's no need for further cables – so users have immediate access to their top four presets.

About Mooer

Mooer is based in the Chinese city of Shenzhen and has been making products for guitarists since 2010, which include compact single pedals through to multi-effects units and compact amplifiers. The company initially produced a range of mini pedals before making perhaps its most significant breakthrough in 2016 with the sophisticated Ocean Machine delay pedal, which was designed in collaboration with Devin Townsend. Mooer's product range now also includes solutions that feature amp modelling, IR-based speaker simulation, and matching equalisers, and the company's focus remains firmly on the use of digital technology.

It's all there

Thanks to its versatile range of emulations of high-quality amps, its numerous effects, the integrated looper, the wireless footswitch and, last but not least, the simple and intuitive operation, the Mooer SD 75 modelling combo is ideally equipped to accompany every guitarist on a journey from their own four walls right the way up to the biggest stages in the world. The 75W output stage, in combination with the 12" speaker, guarantees sufficient power wherever it goes, while the wide range of connections – including an AUX-in and a Bluetooth connection, the serial effects loop, and the practical XLR-out for simple recording – make this combo as powerful as it is flexible. What's more, it will save up to 40 individual sounds, which can then be enjoyed undisturbed with nothing more than a set of headphones.
