Mmm, so churchy
I’m new to music. I wipe down my viola after each session but I’d noticed, if I ran the strings between my thumb & forefinger I could still feel like a crusty layer of rosin. Once I had gone top to bottom, underneath with this string cleaner, it made a big difference. When my tutor checks my tuning now she says ‘mmm so churchy’ - I get it now, even I can hear it!

Excellent series of products
Nature Works produce very effective, easy-to-use cleaners. This works well & is safe for many people who have allergies to other such products. Highly recommended. Even smells pleasant too!

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ Decent String Cleaner, but Not as Effective as Isopropyl Alcohol
This Nature Works string cleaner is not bad — it does freshen up the strings and removes some dirt and residue. The application is easy, the smell is mild, and it’s certainly safer and gentler than using harsher chemicals.
However, in terms of pure cleaning power, it doesn’t match the effectiveness of isopropyl alcohol. The strings feel cleaner after using it, but not as clean as with alcohol-based cleaning. For regular maintenance it works fine, but if you’re looking for a deep clean, this may not be the strongest option.
Because of that, I’m not completely sure I would buy it again. Still, it’s a decent product and does its job reasonably well.
