it is solid contraction, I travel allot with them inside my backpack for a year on cold winter and hot summers without a carrying case and they look/work impeccable .

sound perfectly good with a nice picture of the sound.
If you're use to open back headphone, you might feel these a little boxy but the presentation of the sound is there and you can really mix effortlessly with them. They are not overhype, but Its main strong is on the mid.

These can are beautiful to use when tracking vocals. Gives a nice premium feel to the singer offering them a nice sound of the music with a broad focus on the mids (were the vocals frequency are).

You might need a decent headphone amp but They are easy to drive with my babyface pro FS.

MacBook Pro m1headphone amp struggle a bit, but I was able to make a basic mixing (balancing level) with ease.

I purchased these headphones quite some time ago. When my first pair arrived, I noticed distortion coming from the right driver. At the time, I didn’t think too much of it because I own several pairs of headphones, so I simply put them aside. My first impression wasn’t particularly positive, especially considering I also own the Neumann KH 150 studio monitors, which are outstanding.

About a year later, I decided to give the headphones another try, but the same issue was still there. I performed a frequency sweep test and immediately heard a severe popping distortion in the low frequencies from the right driver.

I contacted Neumann, and their customer service representative was exceptionally helpful. They suggested sending the headphones to an authorised service centre. Since the warranty was close to expiring, I decided to return them to Thomann instead.

A few weeks later, Thomann sent me a brand-new replacement at no cost. I’m not sure whether they tested the original pair, but regardless, the replacement completely changed my opinion. The moment I plugged them in, I thought, “Wow!” They sound every bit as impressive as my KH 150 monitors. For reference, I also own the NDH 30, so I’m very familiar with Neumann’s headphone range.

I absolutely love Neumann’s products their speakers, headphones, and everything else I’ve used from them has been first class. If you’re considering a pair of Neumann headphones, I can highly recommend them. I’d also like to thank Thomann for their outstanding customer service and for making the replacement process completely hassle free.
