I use the transformer to connect the balanced xlr output from my sound card to the unbalanced rca line input of my mixer.
This was the solution to a low level noise issue. Now the signal is clean. I should have bought a couple earlier.

Works exactly as advertised, quality is decent.
No issues so far, as it is passive transformer box, I would not expect any to appear in the future as well.

Excellent item which easily fits into your stage performer toolbox.

Didn't meet my needs

Noise in speakers increased sharply. Unfortunately, it didn't meet my needs and I can't imagine how it worked properly for other users...
