Optima Brian May Signature Strings
I'm not really a guitarplayer. But I hear the difference. These strings have a better feel, are thicker in sound and a lot warmer. I use them on all the guitars I have. The colour is great too.
A must have !

A nice touch...
...to complete the Red Special setup! I mounted these strings on a BMG Red Special and they look awesome. I certainly have good impressions if you stick to the Queen repertory, so I don't find them very versatile on other uses. But I bought 'em for the Red Special so, I am very satisfied. Will definitely buy more when the time comes.

This is what you need if you have a redspecial
These are not perfect but are the perfect match for your Brian May Redspecial. The only downside is that they don't last long.
They also have a very particular bright sound (which if you're into Brian May's sound you're going to dig)

The best!
These strings are really the best strings I've ever tried. I use them on my Strat and I've found no match in other brands in terms of durability and tone.
They feel smooth when playing and make bendings (even overbendings) a breeze.
100% recommended for ANY electric guitar in which you plan to use 9's.

I use a 1959 airline with these strings
Great sound, I tried Ernie Balls, not for me I tried these though and omg there easier to bend for me and have a very bright tone the only down side to them for me is they don't last very long as I'm changing them every 2 weeks as I play a lot and use a two pence coin

The 009 string is way too fragile.
Good sounding strings but the 9 string breaks while tuning it for the first time - EVERY TIME.
I have had to use a replacement 9 D'Addario string literally every time I put these on my BMG red special. It's ridiculous. The D'Addario 9 holds perfectly, as do any other 9 strings. This one breaks every single time.
Avoid.

Good strings.
High E is quite delicate, don't pull too hard while stretching. After that they last long, no problem.
10s are definitely better for me soundwise too, 009 are too skinny and weak. I can still bend a 4th while playing "another brick in the wall" with 10s.
Also 009s makes hard to play open chords without going out of tune cause they are too weak. Just my two cents about this gauge in general.

Great strings
The strings are really great. Easy to play. If you like bending that's your choice. I use the strings on Fender copies and they work wonderful in tone and playability.
