Bought on recommendation from another pro sound guy. Have only used this a few times, but has been reliable and easy to use. The carrying handle on the reel is not the strongest I’ve seen, but as it’s not likely to get a massive amount of use, probably going out every 3-4 weeks, I’m not too concerned; if I get more work than anticipated, then I’ll probably invest in the flight case for it. Other than the carrying handle, it seems well built and reliable, which is essential for the mission critical gigs this will be used for. No qualms about recommending this

One thing that should be noted is that this cable is CAT5 "E". There is no mention of the E rating in the description, but a closer look at the photos you will see this printed on the cable. I urge Thomann to add this to the description throughout all the CAT5 cables as it does make a difference, especially with Yamaha Ethersound & RIO stage boxes.
The cable is high quality, the drum is fine, although it is PVC.

Very good value Cat5 snake, usally Pro Snake build quality and durability, easily on par with the leading name brands at a far better price.

Coils well on to the supplied drum. Quality cat 5 connectors on the ends. Fairly flexible while been well protected cat5 cable.

If I had to find something negative to say, it would be the lack of stowage for the cat5 connectors when wound up (I usually tape them back to the cable / handle to stop them catching anything), but not really a problem at this price point.

All in all a great value product that does what it should.
