I use them with an acoustic bass.
Good sound. At first I was a bit disappointed by the E string as I heard some strange sounds coming out of it but then they went away.
(That is the reason to give 4 stars)
I can compare them to the only other bronze strings I have tried so far, the Thomastik Acoustic bass. The Thomastiks are lower tension which is nice but to a point where I cannot use the full dynamics of my playing. The Pyramid instead have the right tension for me
