12V ? Don't look like it...

Cheap price indeed, practical and stylish. Sound is good but if it worked on 9v I would be more forgiving... However at 12v I would expect it to have more volume and headroom. Then it would compensate for taking the only 12v output from my powerbank ( Falken 1). By the way I tried it on 9v and it does NOT operate!
