Great idea, unfortunately lacking quality.
I bought two of these connectors to tidy up my pedalboard, with the intent to buy more if they worked.
Reading some reviews from the gold and chrome versions I was aware they would only work for specific pedals.
Turns out that they don't work at all, because both pieces are slightly bent, almost imperceptible but they are.
I tried to connect:
two TC-electronic, two DOD, two Digitech, two Hardwire, and several Boss pedals... I even tried two identical pedals.
None worked. Pedals are connected but not aligned generating pressure in the jacks when you stomp in the pedal.
They look very sturdy so I am sure they would last a long time if not bent, but the lack of quality control (two pieces with the same defect) puts me off.
You will be better off with a small flat cable, also sold by Rockboard or the even better quality ones supplied by EBS both sold here on Thomann.

Simplifies the pedalboard a lot!
No more cables, less buzz, I love it.

Exactly what you expect
If you want a patch cable or pedal connector that will give you the smallest space between your pedals to fit more on your board. This is perfect. Cant really go wrong.

Ideal for same brand pedals
They keep my pedal board tidy ,only ideal for same brand pedals as some pedals have different placement of input & output sockets ,built to last they are robust and can take. Punishment .

connects pedals nicely
Very nice finish, very nice metallization and presentation, does exactly what it should. Have been using this for about 3 months and I find it better than most patch cables as it is less likely to get damaged as I run a very tight setup.

Practical solution for pedalboard
Quite practical for minimizing the space on your pedalboard - just take care that pedal output and input should be aligned. In that sense flat patch cable might be even better (shall try), although prolongs a signal path. Quality seems very good.

Use it with caution
If you gig, and move around pedals a lot, forget these, but it is a good thing for always-on pedals connected with pedals of the same brand and same height. Saves space, but can ruin your jack in/out.

Works fine for connecting to pedals next to each other.
(except when the pedals aren't the same heights... so don't forget to check that)

Works perfectly
If this is the piece you need then this does the job. Note however that there is still a distance between units that maybe bigger than by using a patch cable.
