Mein liebstes Mikro im Stall. Mit seinen 19mm Durchmesser eher filigran liegt es aber satt und angenehm in der Hand, wirkt massiv und hochwertig. Der Klang ist im Vergleich mit dem Sennheiser ME66-Rohr deutlich voller und wärmer und noch einen Tick rauschärmer als das schon sehr gute Sennheiser der K6-Modulserie. Und dass das Rode auch noch für den unwirtlichsten Outdooreinsatz optimiert ist, soll mir nur Recht sein.

Allein der Alubehälter ist eine Freude und vermittelt ein Gefühl von absoluter Solidität. Mit diesem Mic bin ich endgültig zum Rode-Fan geworden, nachdem das NT2A und das NT4 bereits einige namhafte und deutlich teurere Wettbewerber in meinem Bestand verdrängt haben.

Habe dieses Mikrofon jetzt schon einige Wochen im Einsatz. Da ich viel im Bereich Jugendfilm unterwegs bin und ich auch einige Teilnehmer selber "angeln" lassen, ist ein gutes Mikro sehr wichtig um auch aus "ungewöhnlichen" Winkel noch akzeptablen Sound zu holen. Da verzeiht das NTG-3 mehr als seine Mitstreiter im Windkorb. Vom Sound alles sehr ausgewogen und Rauschen tut nur der Mikrofonvorverstärker und nicht das Mikro!

Absolut Roadtauglich verpackt in der schicken Aluminiumhülse. Die Standardhalterung ist eine schicke Beigabe, aber eigentlich nur was für den Einsatz am Mikroständer also nichts für ENG oder Film. Das gute Stück gehört in einen anständigen Windkorb, da fühlt es sich am ehesten heimisch
