Vintage-Sound
I have played Ernie Ball 10's the longest times right now on all of my guitars.
Then I've seen the Rotosounds in ads, saying that Hendrix in others used them.
I got interested and bought a few sets.
My whole equipment got more vintage. So the Ernie Balls were a little bit too bright - you really heard this!
The Rotosounds are just great, if you want a WARM but not muddy sound.
String tension is strong enough to strum hard.
They stay in tune ( I play Strats and Les Pauls) even when you have heavy tremolo action.
It gives the tone something like "strings are 2-3 days old but fresh" right at the beginning. Very musically and alive.
The perfect strings for Strats! :)
Try it!

2 sets, but you have to use them at once...
Yes, this is a 2 pack and yes, you save some money compared to buying 2 single sets. But these 2 sets are not packed separately, meaning the second set is no longer sealed when you use the first. No problem when you use them simultaneously, but when you want to save the second one for later (possibly to use on the same guitar), it's not so fresh anymore after some weeks. Also: the single sets come with an extra .010 (though I've never had one break, so I don't really miss it), tis one doesn't.
Apart form that, I really like these strings. Good feel, on par with more expensive sets I've used before. But I'll buy single sets.

roto yellows
I play les pauls and telecasters and have used many string brands but there's something very pleasing about Rotosound yellows or any of there strings.
They keep there tune!
Last as long as they should I usually change every 3 months as play regularly.
Have a nice smooth feel on the wound strings, some other makes feel a bit scratchy!
There a great price and with the extra E string in the single packs free, its a nice touch!
I had a problem once with a single pack of Roto Pure Nickels, rang the number on the pack and got to speak to the MD of the company!!!! Mike!!
He was very helpful!!
Sent me a pack free for my inconvenience!

Some british Strings!
As you may know: there are a lot of american made strings out there, so when i first saw these Rotosounds I just thought: wow, some british made strings, i will have to try them!
So I put a set of them on my guitar and was positivly impressed. The sound is very warm and round, more bass and mids, less treble. Thats why it works really well with my SG.
One thing i dont like, is that these two sets of strings are just put in the package all together, so if you want to change a single string, it could get a bit difficult.
Greetings

Always Good Value
Great string for a very reasonable price. Extra high E string too is a great idea. I get a few gigs out of them before they have to be changed, and they retain clarity and brightness just as long as any other string.

la restitution est super, pas trop brillant pas trop sourd, les basses restituées et le tout sans coloration

Bright and loud strings with beautiful tone. On a stratocaster they just sing. My personal favourite strings.

Great strings, poor packaging
As always the roto yellows sound great and require little stretching compared to other brands, however they have changed the packaging. They used to put the idividual strings in individual bags, but nowadays they have removed the bags and simply put all the strings straight into the plastic package, causing an absolute mess.
