Why buy any other brand?
These Rotosounds are for some reason really difficult to buy in Germany - Why? I've no idea because they far exceed the quality of the many American brands that every shop carries. I've been using them since the mid 1990s and am totally happy with their quality. They're not usually expensive. Plus you get a free high E string.

roto love
I just love rotosound strings. only got to know em cos bareknuckle pickups always include a pack of 10s with any pickup seat you buy... these 11s are great, slinkier than EBs imo and way slinkier than D'adds... the extra top E string can be a bit annoying cos I never use it and it's always hanging around. I like the brand so much that I even order single strings from lord of the strings in the Netherlands to make an 11-50 set and a 14-60 set for C♯ standard... wish Thomann would sell their singles too.

Rotosound R11
Nice strings. Easy to play, pleasant feeling when playing. They hold the line perfectly.

not bad, but
it's not quite bright, compare to d'addario, it's a good value with the 2 E high strings in package, therefore I prefer d'addario, more balance sound and feel/tension

Rotosound are the Go to tool for every touring musician
I ve been using them for 10 years now, both for recording and live applications. Due to my sweaty hands I had a hard time finding strings that last longer than 2 (4hour) shows. Well made, and decent sounding strings, almost to the bright side of spectrum, they don't get slime and dirt too easy. Definitely recommend them to a touring musician and a session as well. Bonus you get an extra e string !! Cheers

Roto R11s
Big fan of Rotosound strings. Feel and play amazingly. The nickel-on-steel is a happy medium between the pure steel and pure nickel strings, imo.
Some people say they aren't as bright as some other string brands, which I've never found to be an issue. I also find Roto strings last a bit longer and are less prone to breaking, which is a big plus.
