A compact sturdy, quality item. The interior shock absorption is much better than other products I have used. I have found other products interior build quality to have issues. The deadcat also feels very good quality. Combined with the MKH 416 mic - very happy.

Hugely expensive for what it is

It works, no problem there but the sense of being fleeced by Rycote's massive prices really puts a bad taste on things. At half the price it might be better but the sense of value is still poor when you pick this up and install it and wonder what you have paid for.
