Habe vor einigen Jahren diese wundervollen Hats ausgiebig testen dürfen und im Hinterkopf als unfassbar gut abgespeichert. Nun war ich auf der Suche nach einer neuen Klangnuance in meinem Setup und habe mich an dieses Instrument erinnert. Vor allem das angenehme Spielgefühl und der definierte, recht helle aber immernoch erdige Sound waren genau das, was ich gesucht habe.

Da das Auge mithört, ist auch die ansprechende Optik für mich ein sehr tolles Feature. Und dann befinden sich die 14“ Monarch Hats auch noch ein einem preislich äußerst attraktiven Preissegment, welches ich von einem Instrument mit diesen Qualitäten nicht erwartet hätte. Großartig!
