Back locking tuner madness.
In most cases the tuners that come with factory built guitars are okay at best.
After a while I decided to replace my tuners for something way better.
These Schallers were expensive but certainly worth the money.
The action is smooth and precise and the locks hold well.
Getting strings on and off the guitar is now very easy and fast.
It's possible to have many different string sets at once and change them on the fly if you need a different tuning and the current ones are too thin or thick.
The largest gauge you can fit through is .056.

Schaller M6 135 Locking 6L - my preferred tuners
I replaced mu old tuners on two of my guitars, because I didn't like that they did not stay tuned and I also wanted a different winding factor.
I chose Schaller after checking out the guitars' of some friends and I decided to give them a shot.
PROS:
- locking tuners, they stay where they should, guitar stays in tune (please note I also changed the bridges, from stock ones to Babicz)
- good quality, very well built
- colour stays well even after using them quite intensively
- great buy for the money, maybe the best in this range
CONS
- none that I can tell
It was a good and very inspired decision, it improved heavily the quality of the guitars and eased my life as I don't have to re-tune as often as before. I have two more guitars in my luthier's workshop, they will both receive Schaller tuners.

quality/price
Very very good tuners, but a little bit over priced IMO

Superb
Very stable, excellent quality, holds the strings in place and in tune, makes strings changing much easier, the finish is very nice, and it seems like it is not going to wear off that easy. High end product, top of the line, getting another one for my second guitar.

Will fit a Solar Guitar
Not cheap but good locking tuners. These fit a number of brands, but I have a Solar A2.6 and they were a perfect fit. These will fit any Solar guitar with inversed headstock.

Top quality locking tuners. Recommended
Great quality, fitted them in under 20 minutes, got rid of my locking nut and have noticed quite an improvement in my tone. They hold the tuning really well and they're far less hassle than the locking nut arrangement. Recommended.

Schaller quality
The best locking tuners. The lockers work flawlessly, very good feedback. The pegs give nice feedback and have no loose play in them so fine tuning is great. Used these tuners for years and never had any issues
