Nutze es primär für das hohe Register, wo es bei gutem Sound ermüdungsärmeres spielen erlaubt. Da es recht flach ist und der Kesseldurchmesser zumindest gefühlt auch ziemlich eng ist, ist die Kontrolle über die Töne nicht so einfach, wie bei weiteren Mundstücken. Auch nach unten sind dem Spiel Grenzen gesetzt, der Ton klingt unten eng und Oktavsprünge nach ganz unten sind eine Herausforderung.
Man muss sich mit dem Mundstück erst langsam anfreunden, aber dann macht es als Leadtrompete duchaus Freude.
Ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass es auf einer Piccolo Trompete noch besser funktioniert, konnte das aber noch nicht testen.

In Kombination zu meiner Schilke S42L Trompete ergibt es einen strahlenden und schönen Klang. auch im oberen Spielbereich klingt es richtig fett.
