I've been using it in my Strat neck position, and I'm happy with it. It comes with a bigger box than other Duncan's pickups, and it seems just a very well made pickup. The sound is subjective, so let me just say that I'm liking it way more if wired in parallel rather than in series, because it has a brighter, glassier tone, and without being harsh, in that way. Comes with 4-conductor wire so you can easily wire it as you want

Very nice sounding pickup. You know the Yngwie sound but I think it sounds really good on a small distorted blues rock style. A tips is to mount the bridge pickup in neck position, I think it got a punch that was really unexpected. Started out as a misstake but ended up as permanent!
