Showtec SM-16/2 FX

The console is ideal for smaller rigs of moving lights and LED fixtures where a larger more expensive console would be excessive. Though not the most visual of desks as it doesn't have a large display, once you've played around with it a bit it's actually surprisingly versatile. The shape engine is perfect for creating automated programs and effects. A very well priced console for it's features, build quality and large mechanical buttons are great too.

Thomann helpfully enabled me to return this. On the surface this looks like a great value desk, but once you come to programming it’s a nightmare if you are working quickly. For example ‘clear’ only clears dimmer value when programming making highly confusing. The spelling mistakes in the display also don’t inspire confidence, nor does the slightly flaky load and save. Swapped it for an ADJ Link which has been amazing for my varied mix of lighting bands, small stage shows, awards events etc

Ich habe für Theaterbeleuchtung ein neues Pult gesucht, da durch den vermehrten Einsatz von Farb-LED Scheinwerfern mein LC2412 (tolles Pult) nicht mehr ausreichend war. Zuerst habe ich das Color Cue 3 probiert, ist aber durchgefallen (siehe Bewertung dort). Dieses Pult habe ich erst auf dem 2. Anlauf gefunden, weil es so unscheinbar aussieht.
Highligts vom SM-16/FX:
- 16 * 32 Kanäle = 512 Adressen !
- Verarbeitung für den Preis super
- beleuchtete große Tasten, so dass man immer weiß was zu tun ist
- 80 Speicherplätze für Szenen und Chases
- Tasten in vernünftigen Gruppen angelegt
- Beim Programmieren auch noch Anzeige der to Do's im Display
- Programmierung super einfach: Szene einstellen, Record drücken, freie Taste aussuchen, fertig (oder nächster STEP beim Chase).
- Änderungen wie neue Szene, nur kommt noch die Abfrage überschreiben oder Mergen dazu.
- Faderzeiten je Chase individuell einstellbar
- beliebige Kombination von verschiedene Chases und Szenen aus beliebigen Bänken. und direkte Ansteuerung von Fixtures
- und da gibt es bestimmt noch viel mehr
Nachteile
- nur englische Bedienungsanleitung dabei, es gibt aber eine Deutsche auf Thomann Seite. Aber leiber eine englische Anleitung und ein gutes Pult, als ein weniger gutes Pult auf deutsch.

Ich freue mich schon auf unsere nächste Aufführung, wenn Corona Pause endlich vorbei ist.

Finalmente un Mixer Dmx degno di nota.

A differenza di molti altri, specie di quelli di fascia inferiore e di altre marche (my god...!) questo Gioiellino della Showtec è un Dmx più che valido.

All'inizio non di facile utilizzo poiché molto diverso dai dmx classici, ma grazie al manuale in italiano che per fortuna quelli della Showtec si sono degnati di fare, (manuale scaricabile dal sito Highlite) ne ho potuto apprezzare le caratteristiche davvero notevoli.

Oltre alla possibilità di fare scene e personalizzarne l'entrata, (fino ad un totale di 80 ossia 16 x 5) e di eseguirle tranquillamente senza che si sovrappongano, come ahimè molti altri dmx purtroppo fanno, sequenze fino a 100 passi a ripetizione (ed anche esse ne è la possibilità di registrarne fino ad 80), teste mobili facilmente comandabili, ecc...; oltre a ciò si possono decidere quanti e quali canali assegnare per ogni fixture (luci, barre led, ecc...) fino ad un massimo di 32 canali ciascuna, anche se la portata massima di questo dmx non è di 512 canali come erroneamente riportato da Thomann ma di 256 canali.

Massimo 8 fixture a 32 canali ciascuna, o meglio 16 fixture fino a 16 canali.

Più che sufficienti per mandare 8 luci e 4 teste mobili in perfetta sintonia ed armonia.

Non è certo un Dmx per neofiti abituati al classico 8 canali, poiché è tutto un altro sistema di memorizzazione e di lavoro.

Ma una volta imparato a mandarlo, i risultati non mancheranno di certo.

Conclusione:
un ottimo prodotto ad un ottimo prezzo.
