Excellent microphone
This condenser microphone from Shure is very good, just like all the higher-end models from this manufacturer. It feels great in the hand, the sound is excellent and clean, and it doesn’t pick up much feedback, so you can even move in front of the speakers without major issues.
The only thing I would point out is the range, which is not as strong as with some other microphones, but it is still sufficient to allow you to move further forward on stage and even among the audience.
Another minor issue is that while holding it, the part that needs to be unscrewed to access the battery can sometimes loosen slightly on its own. It doesn’t actually come undone or fall apart, but you can feel it becoming a bit loose. However, this is a small detail and not a major problem, as it doesn’t happen very often.
On a single charge, the battery lasts approx 15 to 16 hours, which is very solid for live performance use.
Overall, I recommend it — it’s a very good microphone with excellent sound.
