The stand is possibly the worst stand i have ever owned. This lowers the total impression and this is why i dont rate five stars. The mini congas on the other hand are fun to play. The high gloss finish, chrome details and fade finish give a impression of craftmanship expected from Sonor.

Nice Set
Pretty nice set of drums. Set it up and the sound quality is fine. The only problem was that upon opening the boxes the bracket on the bigger sized Conga was bent, whereby I couldn't level it with the base that it's screws on. I'm afraid to hammer it, or use a spanner or vise to level it, for fear of snapping it. Also, the Quinto drum has a dent on the outside of the wood, leaving a nice indentation and scar on the wood base. I easily solved that with wood putty and placed a decal over it to hide the scar. Extra care has to be taken when packed and fragile labels placed on the box due to UPS possibly mishandling the box, especially during the Xmas season. Still, I'm happy with the quality and sound.

Pretty good price for what it is
Very happy with these. The stand is a bit touch and go, but the congas are solid.

ive had these congas for a while now and have gigged a lot with them. great for portability but only really sound good in large rooms. Perfect for someone who wants to record congas or wants to travel with them due to there size. still yet to change the skins. stand is very sturdy with no problems as of yet
