A bad copy of an originally good product
It doesn't rip very cleanly (and the thread is coarser than expected), but I would still let that pass if it was the only issue. The real offense is that permanent markers don't mark on it very well, making it mostly useless for me.

Good for the price
Good for the price, but if you expect something more than better buy more expensive Tesa products. This tape is decent, and if this is your first tape of this kind you might be satisfied, but after using Tesa for years, I can say that this one is weaker and it is glossier, meaning marker pens dont stick on it like on more textile Tesa tape.

Great visibility
I use it to mark cables going from their sockets to the lighting. It helps me identify which lamp is linked to which cable. You can easily recognize the different colours, even in the near dark. Build quality is about equal to any good gaffer tape. It appears to be less sticky than my trusty Gerband Tape 258, but if you press down for a few seconds you can get it to stick to most surfaces pretty decently. Only wish they made more colours (or patterns) - I'd buy them all!

Love it!
Perfect product for labeling applications on stage and in studio. It sticks well and tears great. What more can you ask?
It's also fairly priced which is great cause I tend to use it a lot.
Only thing I would recommend to be careful with is heat. When exposed to heat it tends to leave some glue residue.
Other than that it's perfect.

Great alternative for Tesa tapes
I bought these tapes to compare against the more expensive tapes manufactured by Tesa.
The new Stairville tape is very close to the Tesa tapes.
Glue is almost exactly the same, and works as well.
It sticks just a bit more after a while.
Surface is a little more shiny and plasticy.
Tesa tapes are more fabric like, and have more color.
I will be buying this in the future, as they are considerably cheaper and work just as well for me.

Best stage tape ever
Looking for a tape for high visibility anywhere? This is it. Been using it on stage for everything from lighting to sound to rigging, and also as a gripper. Literally taking it everywhere i go.
