The Stairville BSW-100 LED BeamSpotWash can be operated using the buttons next to its display or via DMX in either 17 or 20-channel mode, offering control for different setups. Its interface is thoughtfully arranged, with the display positioned at the front of the base and all essential connections, including three and five-pin XLR inputs and outputs, located at the rear alongside the power input and output for easy linking of multiple devices. Equipped with a 100W LED and a total power consumption of 189W, it delivers reliable performance while offering a selectable dispersion angle of 2° to 28° for varied lighting effects. The colour wheel provides a wide palette including white, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, magenta, light blue, and pink, along with blends between adjacent colours. Designed for indoor use with an IP20 rating, it can be mounted on the floor or suspended as needed, and weighs a modest 12kg.

Since it was introduced in 1994, Thomann's in-house brand Stairville has been a permanent fixture in the store's product range. The brand primarily focuses on the field of stage lighting in general, and its products include spotlights, moving lights, and theatre lighting as well as smoke machines, electronic control systems, and every other accessory you can think of. Thomann constantly has around 1,600 Stairville products on offer, and the figures speak for themselves: Statistically, one in every fifteen Thomann customers owns at least one Stairville product. Incidentally, the name "Stairville" is also a catchy English translation of "Treppendorf", the town that Thomann calls home.
Wash, spot, and beam
For DMX operation, the Stairville BSW-100 LED BeamSpotWash is simply connected to a controller using a standard DMX cable, while the included power twist cable locks securely in place to provide reliable power. Using the menu buttons, the desired mode, e.g. the 20-channel setting, can be selected and a start address assigned, allowing for seamless integration into any lighting setup. From there, the DMX controller offers full control, including switching between Beam, Spot, and Wash modes, as well as adjusting angle and frost directly from the relevant faders. Additional options include fading in the prism effect, independent control over focus and shutter, and access to 31 pan and tilt macros with adjustable speed. Both gobo wheels can rotate in either direction, while combined gobo and prism movement along with strobe effects create a dynamic and richly varied lighting experience.
