Great for beginners and travelling

A friend wanted to learn Piano. We bought this as a starter for her. When we unwrapped it we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the sounds. The feel of the keys is ok, and she will be able to store it away easily thanks to the hinge. The amp is a little weedy, but when plugged in are fine. A surprise was the midi enabled out/input. Overall just fine.

Really pratical... but at what cost?

I bought this foldable piano for 3 reasons: I needed a 88 keys keyboard since I had only a 57, it's foldable, which is great to carry around to anywhere, and has a battery, so I can play it when there is no power source. All those reasons were satisfied, since it is REALLY pratical to use. The fold is a bit notorious when playing, but it doesn't bother.
What really downgrades this piano is it's sound. Well... the speakers are loud, like very loud, but the sound quality of the voices is terrible. If you are going to use it as a MIDI this is not a problem, but if not, it might trouble you. If you connect a good speaker to the piano it gets better, but not much...
