Tama Sizzle Touch Drop Clutch

Finally an adjustable drop clutch. Works great. Now I can have the hihat a bit more open when it's in the closed position. Great when you are playing double bass or just want to take your foot of the hh pedal :)

The price tag may seem a bit high at first but the possibilities this thing opens for you are well worth it. It works quick, you just click and the top hat is locked. I love the fact that I can have my hats wide open and when clutch is released they're not just dead closed by gravity but still have some air moving between them. This thing has the exact feature every other clutch lacks and on top of that the quality of production is just top notch.

Hands down the clutch every kit should be equipped with. Using it feels like your hi-hats were never completely controllable before and no need to sacrifice on the closed position being super tight dry and silent. A must have!

I did not know before that such a product can help playing and sound better.

My turkish Masterwork cymbals are openning and closing better. Good to have for double bass players

Previously had a Dw hi-hat clutch, but this is a better product.

The spring used here is pretty cheap and broke after just a few months. I had to repair it with duct tape because I was in the middle of a recording session. In my opinion, it's a downgrade from a traditional drop clutch design. For the amount of money I can't recommend it. The idea is great but execution is bad.
