Crazy good!
I used to own a Boss OC-2 Octave thinking it was a pretty decent tool for adding a bit of low octaves to guitar leads. Then I played the Brainwaves Pitch Shifter. Wow. This thing is superior in every possible way.
Pro:
very responsive
handles chords extremely well
loads of config options
toneprint programming
3 custom presets
low price
cons
nothing!

worth its salt
Used it live as a simple whammy replacer. It's small, requires only a fraction of power that whammy draws - very convenient. You can get even more if you figure out the toneprint editor.
The inconvenient part is that the editor doesn't have any tooltips/hints on how to use it; the "help" section in editor sends you to an "under construction" page. The software IS powerful, but very not user friendly. There are some videos on internet from users(!) on how to create some toneprints. Would be great if the manufacturer did that job, not the users, and more thoroughly. Also you can't share created custom toneprints, which would save time.
The pedal is rather good for the price.

Fun!
I've only been using this pedal for about an hour and I won't be using it live but here's my first impression: Does everything I wanted it to do based on reviews and video demonstrations.
I've already dialled in a really cool Whammy-esque patch that does a nice glissando down 5 steps (think Cello) and the Octave up sounds shimmery without being too ice-pick-on-ears. Octave down is super fun! And I really like the detune with Mash, that'll sound really cool when I do some ambient guitar tracks.
My only criticism so far is that you have no control over the volume of each octave on the pedal. It's probably adjustable (somehow?) in the editor but I haven't got that far yet. I knocked off a star for sound because it's not 100% flexible in that manner.
I bought this for the sole purpose of making weird noises with, rather than the pitch option, although it tracks really well. It's as good as the EHX pitch tracking (and that's legit amazing).
I thought I'd immediately regret this purchase but I've ignored my other new toys in favour of playing with this one instead. Get one.

Super Cool Pedal
This pedal is awesome, the coolest pitch shifter. The button can be used as a normal switch but also you can hold it down for even more experimental madness. Its a whole lot of fun to play with and great for live shows

versatile pitch shifter
I use the pedal at home and at band practice, haven't used it live yet.
I mainly use it to play bass lines into my ditto looper
+ It has a lot of features
+ expression footswitch
+ toneprint capability
- has a bit of latency

Worth the price
Does a good all around job and the price is right.
My only problem was and probably just a coincidence, the bypass was not working so i had to(sorry for the poor explanation but i suck at English :D) unscrew the pedal and it seemed the strip that should be attached on the power output was not installed correctly,so i just readjusted it.

TC does it again...
Another great pedal from TC Electronic - does exactly what it says on the tin (and more!) - I have to admit that I didn't really start to enjoy this until I downloaded some of the toneprint sounds (the limitation of my own imagination rather than the pedal) so I highly recommend doing this as a starting point to see exactly what this incredible little pedal can do!!

Sleeper pedal
I mainly use it as a micropog substitute and I have to say it does and excellent job, plus having the possibility to sculpt the tone and come up with well-tailored conventional sounds or pretty out-there patches using the tone print app.
I use a good power supply with it and have not experience any noise or volume drop whatsoever.e
