Nice!
Ozeb 07.04.2020
I bought this pedal as I wanted to expand my sound. I never really played with fuzz, so I thought I would give it a try.
Pedal is built well. Pots seem to bo ok, the switch, well maybe not so much, but it works well so far, so ...
It's built to a standard. Altrough it's behringer made, I believe, the construction cannot be compared to behringer pedals in any way. No plastics, just good old sturdy metal. The input and output jacks seem to be nice as well. Not top end, but good enough.
It is a bit noisy, but I guess all fuzzes are. It's not too bad, I used it in studio, feeding my overdriven marshall and it sounded really good for solos. For chords, for my taste, it tendst to be a bit bass heavy. But for solos ... man, it's almost like you are playing a violin! Endless sustain, really.
It works nice into clean amp, into over driven amp and to responds well if you boost it with overdrive pedal and vice versa, meaning it boosts overdrive or distortion pedal in front of it.
For the money, really cant go wrong with it.

BI
Great fuzz tone and free noise gate included
Benjamin I. 28.02.2023
Samples of the tone are abundant so I'll pass; what you won't hear in sound samples is how the pedal is EXTREMELY silent, even at the hardest setting. Compared to the distortion's base hum of my four guitar amps and the Metal Zone pedal, this effect is more silent than all.

I have a great Strat clone with classic Fender 57/62 pickups, the most shimmering of all, but not stacked, so they hum badly with moderate distortion, and almost unbearably with highest gain. So I had left it to nearly clean tones only but the Honey Pot allows for harshest sound without the irritating buzz, and now the guitar is used more.

If you are stuck with low gain because of noisy single coil pickups this is your savior. You can play hard rock and metal and forget the hum of old days. At the minimal setting the fuzz acts like a gentle crunch, gives more presence and bite to the bare clean tone.

The jacks lock very positively with good clicks, and the pedal drives so little current I left the rechargeable battery several weeks. Only the super short screws are a bit annoying but I made knurled replacement screws so no need for a screwdriver anymore. If you do that, beware that the screws must be only 4mm or 5mm deep or they will hit components inside.

The build is very strong, the foot switch is tough and positive, the knobs are not scratchy, no,issues. I can't insist too much on the silence of that pedal, it is such a relief to play the hardest tones and hear no buzz at all. Highest recommendation.

Nothing wrong with it; not quite what I was expecting
PestilenceKills 13.08.2021
Solidly built, knobs feels good, soft-touch switch is nice, all metal enclosure at this price is great. Typical TC quality, it's a tank.

I was looking for a cheap fuzz, and a lot of places online call this a Big Muff-style pedal - it's not. It never gets that creamy, violin thing going on, it's always a buzzy, vintage fuzz. The tone control is kinda Muff-ey (it's doing a lot of stuff, not just rolling off top-end), but with a bigger range - I think it'll probably work pretty nicely on bass.

Can't argue with that price though, probably going to check out some other stuff in this line.

It's my kind of sound, so it might be a biased review. I just love the sound. Not a very harsh fuzz.

It's a great sounding Fuzz
JerryLeeL 10.11.2021
More like a Big Muff but changeing settings the sound can vary from very subtle to very powerful, but even at the most extreme settings its stays pretty usable. I mainly have it on one setting and change the volume and or tone knob on the guitar to get different results. Very well built and sturdy. If you consider the price, it's an absolute no brainer.

Sturdy Bold Sound
Simsn 15.05.2025
I like the pedal overall for its simplicity and build. Delivers a warm stable fuzz tone when sustain is maxed. It’s a bit too chunky but I’m guessing that’s how it is with the tc electronic pedals. Great value though, can’t really complain.

A muff for 1/3 of the price
Kastelan 07.12.2019
If you are roling on a budget, and want a solid muff-esque sound, look no further. The tone and sustain knobs do have their sweet spots, but with being bigger than the usual pedal knob, its easy to fine tune them. The spectrum of different sounds isnt as wide as some other pedals of this kind, but its a solid piece of gear, and for that price, its a no brainer.
The size and weight is somewhere between the nano series, an full sized muff, so portability and board estate wont be a problem.

A "Big Muff" without scooped mids!
Hans from Nederland 29.04.2025
And good sounding.
For a fuzz, very easy to play.
I don't need more gain. They say/write that it is based on a Sovtek (Electro-Harmonix) russian Big Muff, these also have less gain than the standard US Big Muffs.

TI
Fuzz like the 70s
Tommy Iommi my hero 14.07.2025
I had already bought the tc electronic satisfaction pedal, but I was not so happy with it,I couldn't send it back as I had taken too long to try it out properly, do I bought this honeypot fuzz, what a difference it is from a pedal twice it's price, the sounds are much clearer the knobs are easier to use and it give you a great feel of the 70s which I was looking for.
I use a pedalboard and a power pack, no buzzing from any of the pedals while on standby, all in all it's a great pedal and I recommend itv100%,and for the price thomann are asking at the moment, even if you only use it a few times a year it's a great price for such a great pedal.
3 knobs to play with to get your own sound you like, sustain, volume and a tone, all of which work perfect,so what are yoh waiting for, go on treat yours and spend a few quid and enjoy

Yeah it's sweet as honey
Schaffie 18.12.2021
Does exactly what it says: fuzz as sweet as honey, maybe a bit too tame for my taste. Supposedly based on muff circuitry, but missing that grit of that original. Stacks wonderfully with overdrive.
