Thomann Ceramic Chirping Bird

I bought this to mess with the birds in my garden, it certainly got a lot of WTF looks from them. A decent range of sounds can be produced by adjusting how much water is in there. In a pinch it makes for an excellent pipe if you use a guitar strap pin as a cone. I broke this pipe after 2 days by dropping it, I intend to replace it on my next order from Thomann though. All in all a great bit of kit i was very impressed by it.

This instrument is extremely fun
It's a little brittle, since its clay(or some kind of ceramic or something similar) so I guess it could break if it falls of a shelf, but it's very cheap for the effect it produces.

What an excellent toy for the kids! The can also take it into the woods and correspond with actual birds! Our dog is also enjoying it... she's searching for the birds into our house!

The whistle does not respond easily - you have to position it in EXACTLY the right way. Also, it has a very think, weak, soft sound, and makes only one noise, like "tweet, tweet."

Once you figure out how much water to add on it the sound of the bird is beautiful to complement other instruments. I was impressed how such small tool could sound also loud, perfectly great.

Well, I had my 5 minutes of fun when it arrived. This bird is obviously a bit of a one trick pony. It needs a bit of trial and error to set the water level to a good height for the best result. If you like musical toys, this one's for you!

I'm impressed by the sound that comes out of this small and affordable instrument. I use it in sound bath and I love how easy it is to use.

Makes all the birds go quiet. I think they know it's just me.. It won't survive being dropped, but the sound is very sweet and complex.

You can't go wrong with this thingy, especially for the price. There's a high possibility of bringing joy to people who like birds!

Pour a little water in and blow. It emits a pleasant and convincingly bird-like warbling sound at a good volume. Impressive little device. I have recorded it to use as a sound effect.
