This dulcimer was not set up before shipping. It needed the adjustment screws tightening on the banjo tuners, and it also needed the bridge positioning correctly. Once that was done, it tuned up beautifully and stayed in tune. The action was good, no buzzing at all. Great tone, very easy to play and surprisingly loud. Louder than my Martin guitar!
