Good quality springs.

I wanted to replace the springs on my 20 year old Melton 2040/5 as they had become soft and weak.

These are perfect, I now have quick, snappy valves with a slightly stronger spring tension that I wanted. Easy to fit too.

Habe die Federn bei meiner alten Amati Tuba eingesetzt. Im Vergleich zu den alten Federn, arbeiten nun alle Ventile gleichmäßig, sofern sie richtig geölt sind.
Zudem kann man die Federn bei Bedarf etwas fester oder lockerer spannen und so den gewünschten Gegendruck einstellen.
Auch die Installation geht verhältnismäßig einfach. Mechanik auseinanderbauen, alte Federn entfernen und, neuen genauso aufstecken, zusammenbauen, fertig.
Einziges Manko: Da die Federn universell für alle Tuben verwendbar sein sollen ist der Durchmesser der Federn bei mir etwas größer als die Ventilstange, wodurch die Federn etwas Spiel haben. Das ist aber nur eine optische Beeinträchtigung die mich persönlich nicht stört und beeinflusst in keiner Weise die Funktionalität.
