Plessant copy off
This connector looks and feels like a plessant copy of the old AMPHENOL XLR Connector but very low priced.
Downside are the screws, Plus side they hardly come loose.
You must have soldering down as an art since the connector plastics as easy to melt.
But very good value for money

Good quality connector
Good quality connectors at a good price, especially when you get discount for buying larger quantities of them.
I prefer connectors without screws, which these have, but can't complain for the price. the strain relief is good, with a decent sized rubber boot.
The connectors fit everything I tried them with well, unlike some other cheap connectors.
I would happily use these again.

great
great for installations or racks but probably not the best if you need to unplug and plug in all the time. id go for neutriks if thats your requirement.

My opinion, better give little bit more money and something better. For this connector you need screwdriver, and parts inside is not made with so quality

for the money...
These connectors do a job, they're not the most reliable connectors and they can be a real pain to solder, but for the price... you can't really complain. I bought 50 to make loads of cables up but gave up half way through and bit the bullet, bought proper neutriks which made my life soon much easier.

Okay for its price
The Thomann SK026 XLR male plug is not that robust as Neutrik's or other more expensive plugs but it is totally sufficient for home use and everywhere else if you take care when using your equipment.

Does the job
If you are building your own cables, I would recommend this. Easy to work with and sturdy, no issues with compatibility.

Does the job and is reasonably priced.
Based on the Cannon design not Neutrik, so a bit more fiddly to (dis)assemble. Take your time, tin them with solder first and don't forget to put the collar on before you start soldering the cables!

It does its job and it is sturdy. Safe to use.
No signs of low quality material used on it.
