Thomastik BC600S Belcanto Solo Bass 3/4

A famous italian bass soloist recommended these strings to me, and he was right. Very, very good strings, way better than the Spirocore solo set. And strangely, way better than the Belcanto Orchestra set as well... i'm glad i bought two sets for my basses.
They have more warmth and depth than the Spirocores, a richer timbre, and they're perfectly balanced as a set.
A nice surprise because i didn't really expect such high quality.

This string are a nice, very balanced and well manufactured set by Thomastik Infeld.
The set has a medium tension, generally a dark and dump sound. It is perfect for classical music.
Quite long endurance of the set and very fair price on the website by Thomann.

Perfect strings for students and beginners, easy to play.
As a professional musician, they are a little too basic without big possibilities of expression.

Very good feeling both on the arco and the left hand. They are easy to play for classical players. The sound is warm and pleasant. They adapt very easily to every kind of double bass but unlike Pirastro strings, they don't lack a bit of projection
