I needed to build a TOSLINK/ADAT patchbay and used one of these panels to mount the sockets.
Nice and solid. Well built and does exactly what you need - also a decent price too.

Does the job

We have all been there, putting it off for ages getting a patch bay and having to go behind our rack units every time we want to patch something it.

Look no further! Your problems have been solved!

This is great for the money, at under £10 you cant beat it!

It will save you hours of time and hassle having to poke around in the back of your units with your phone light trying to find out whether you patched output 3 to input 4 or not.

All you do is screw in your connectors to the front panel, solder these up to your cables and then screw the panel to your rack unit.

It looks great as its just solid black and won't look out of place with all of your lovely outboard gear.

The build quality is good, it's not easy to bend the metal and i doubt it will become warped over time.

This goes well with the Neutrick ends, you can afford to save on the front panel plate but go decant when it comes to things that will affect the sound of your euipment!

I'm sure this will fit all of your rack units out there. I doubt they would make something in a specific size that wouldn't.

Pros:
Great value for money
Looks cool
Will save you lots of time plugging in equipment and microphones.
Will last a long time due to good build construction
Fits Neutrick ends which are the best
Makes your studio look more pro

Cons:
None

Buy this! Save yourself some time and hassle in your studio trying to find out what inputs and outputs to plug in.

Issa rack panel

It does what it says it does. Only one thing bothered me, and that's the fact that the black paint scratches and smudges like crazy. But then again. it's part of a touring rack, so it fits the picture perfectly.
