Great quick-change for anything that goes on a mic stand...even parts of the stand itself (i.e. boom to stand base, goosenecks etc.).

Pros: very well made, safe, instant clip on action, easy release system, not too heavy.

Cons: none really tbh...maybe if you're already close to the max weight with a particular mic position, it will tip the scales...

TBH, if you have the money, it's probably worth dumping/selling off your existing stands and going all Triad rather than retrofitting.

The hex lock feature is a great idea; shame it wasn't also on the head part.

Die besten Quick Release Verbindungen

Ich hatte vorher andere, günstigere Quick Releases ausprobiert – kleine, billige mit 1/4 Gewinde von A*****, dann die von Gator Frameworks … beide hatten Spiel und wackelten, bei denen von A***** hat sich auch mal eine unwillentlich gelöst, wodurch eine Fingercam auf den Tisch geknallt ist. Die von Triad-Orbit WACKELN NICHT, sie haben kein Spiel und sitzen 100% bombenfest.
So lässt sich auch eine Kamera dahin bringen, wo ich sie haben möchte und sackt nicht ab oder ruckelt, wenn ich sie loslasse, diese Quick Releases sind einfach die besten.
Ich verwende sie jetzt für Mikrofone, Kameras und kleine Lampen - was auch ein Vorteil ist, denn vorher hatte ich zwei Systeme für Mikrofone und alles andere und da war nie was kompatibel.
