Excellent pedalboard
Seby76 07.05.2026
I’ve had the Valeton GP150 for about a week now, and I’m genuinely happy with my choice. For the price, it offers incredible value and easily competes with units that cost much more. The build quality feels very solid and robust, which gives confidence that it can handle regular use, rehearsals, and gigs without any issues.

One thing I really like is the display. It’s well-sized and perfectly proportioned to the unit itself, making navigation simple and comfortable without feeling cramped or oversized. The interface is intuitive, so getting around the menus and settings is surprisingly easy.

Portability is another strong point. The GP150 is lightweight, compact, and very convenient to carry around, making it ideal for practice sessions, studio work, or live performances.

Most importantly, the tones sound excellent. I’ve already spent time trying several of the factory presets, and Valeton did a great job with them. The amp models and effects sound impressive straight out of the box, with plenty of usable tones for different styles of music.

The only thing I’m really looking forward to now is a dedicated tone exchange or patch-sharing website where users can upload and share presets. That would make the whole experience even better and help build a stronger community around the GP150.

C
Not a good upgrade from GP-5
Cecko 26.05.2026
Bought this to upgrade from Valeton gp-5 for its expression pedal, bigger display, internal battery etc. What made me send it back is it has HUGE gap in sound when switching pedals on/off or patches, so bad that the sound cuts for almost ONE SECOND(!!!) which makes playing and switching effects on/off imposible. A problem I dont have with my GP-5 and Chocolate Plus midi switch, you still can hear a little hickup when turning stuff on or off, but it's ever so subtle, you definately cannot hear it in a mix. I am not covinced that this is merely a software thing, and can be fixed with an update in the future, I think that Valeton tried to put too much stuff in the same hardware as GP-5, and it just cannot handle it.
The other thing is, battery. I couldnt get more than 2 hours of battery life before the "Battery empty" message, even without playing trough it, after a full charge - VERY FAR from the 6 hours battery life advertised.
Anyway, I was very keen on getting an upgraded GP 5 with more features, but ended up VERY disapointed and got to return it. Now i have to apologise to my trusty GP-5 and get it out on my board again and go to a nice gig.

Incredibly powerful
erduk 04.05.2026
You may already explored several YouTube videos for this device. I want to confirm that the hype is real! It’s incredibly powerful. The included battery is a huge bonus, and the tones are fantastic. While you can import .NAM files, I prefer using the built-in amps and cabinets. Also you can use it as a USB interface. Overall, I highly recommend it.
