It does it's job
It's simple to put in stick but it's farely expensive for what you get. Material is grippy but it's also sticky and after you finish drumming you still have some pieces of that tape on your hands. But still I generally recommend not to buy these tapes or other things to grip your hand on stick. After you start playing without that tape, you need to get used to that new feeling again and it takes very long, believe me.

Got in the way more than useful
I have playing for 12 years and recently found stick wrap to be very comfortable to use, less grip needed meaning less blisters. I liked the idea of the vater stick tape not needing extra tape for its application and found it very easy to apply. Unfortunately decided to use it on a gig and it gradually slid down and off the end of the stick. And as it sticks to itself just became a piece of material flapping around on the end of my stick, neither could I pull the rest of it off so just had to deal with it for the whole gig.

Not just a gimmick
I love how I can use this stuff for both my fingers and my sticks. It's really much better for covering up blisters during a gig than a band-aid. This tape also doesn't leave your fingers sticky, which is good. Can't really come up with anything bad to point out.

Tape works well
I got this tape for the long sets when my fingers begin to suffer. It works very well without limiting movement and provides enough extra grip on the sticks. Even with sweaty hands and heat from stage lights the tape did it's job well

Good
I've been using the tabe for 4 years only on my fingers. It is very good to stop getting blisters but it's quite expensive and sometimes can be too tight to wear.

Good grip, without being gluey
Just do not put it in the bottom of a bag because it will deform and then take out the tape will be annoying.
Good though

Stuck
Could not unwrap the tape. It was completely stuck together. Buy Vic Firth tape instead.
