Enfin une fuzz germanium que l'on peut placer n'importe où dans le pedalboard ! VS Audio a mis un buffer d'entrée pour ne pas avoir le problème classique de la fuzz qui sonne pas quand elle est derrière une wha ou une pédale à buffer ... et là je dis bravo.
Basée sur l'Arbiter Fuzz Face, c'est le son type des année 60-70 (hors Big Muff). Même i le boost (More) n'est pas réglable, c'est super utile pour donner ce petit punch supplémentaire.
L'eq est une merveille, actif +/- 20db bass/treeble. On peut vraiment régler sa tonalité comme on veut.
Cette VS Audio Pandora m'a réconcilié définitivement avec les Fuzz Face.

Aggressive and smooth Fuzz sound at the same time!
This Fuzz pedal is really versatile case if you use it in front of the amplifier, you can get really aggressive Fuzz as soon as you move the Gain Fuzz knob but I tried using it as preamp into the "return" of the amp and the behavior is completely different, much smoother with less noisy treble.
I also appreciate that there is the "bass" knob cause usually fuzz distortion will smooth the bass and with that knob you can recover it.

Very nice old school sounding fuzz!
The fuzz box is very very nice! I love the sounds at higher gain levels as well as with the gain set low. On a high gain setting you can expect classic Hendrix’y fuzz sounds. The low gain setting gives you quite a good germanium od tone. One of the best features about this pedal is the build in buffer that allows you to use a wah in front - fantastic feature! I took one star away from features due to the lack one a dedicated volume knob for the boost but That’s pretty much it. The boost though sounds wicked! There is a small “popping” sound when the boost is engaged. Other than that this is a great pedal!

Schönes Fuzz Face mit Boost
Gleich vorneweg: Volldröhnende Fuzz-Gewitter sind meine Sache nicht, ich war auf der Suche nach einem Fuzz-Face-Type Pedal für einen sanften Fuzz-Effekt. Das liefert das VS Audio Pandora meiner Meinung nach sehr schön: Sowohl mit den Reglern am Pedal als auch durch Zurückdrehen des Volumen-Potis an der Gitarre erhält man hier eine Bandbreite sehr schöner warmer, leicht knarziger Sounds , die eher in Richtung Germanium Overdrive gehen. Super ist der Clean Boost, den das Pedal noch zusätzlich bietet. Die volle Fuzz-Dröhnung kann das Pedal auch, aber in dem Bereich maße ich mir kein Urteil an, da das nicht mein Sound ist. Das einzige Manko, das ich feststellen konnte: Es ist echt schwer, in der Hitze des Gefechts nicht aus Versehen den falschen der beiden Schalter mit dem Fuß zu erwischen (oder beide gleichzeitig!). Andererseits kann ich das dem Hersteller aber nicht wirklich vorwerfen, denn die Alternative wäre ein breiteres Pedal gewesen und das hätte ich auch nicht gewollt. Daher: 5 Sterne.
