Wittner Metronom 808

I expected more from a made in Germany product. Ok, it does it job pretty well, but in terms of build quality it is a pretty cheap-feeling lightweight thing. It does not give you the feel of a "classic". Also, it is not stable on its three feet (why not make four?), and the plastic feet can easily scratch the lacquer on the piano (why not make some soft pads?). Overall, I cannot recommend it. I'd rather buy a good quartz alternative.

It does what it should do, the only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars is because it has a flimsy plastic clip that keeps the lid in place. It's a timeless design, normally these things don't break, so why choose for such a cheap clip?

Excellent value for money. A classic.
