rock solid
yamaha hardware is famous for its sturdiness .
this cymbal holder is rock solid.
i like that it has an outer tube and an inner tube that the main holder is on - this increases the flexibility of set up options especially if you are mounting toms on it.
the only minor down side with this cymbal holder is that it can be a wee bit fiddly to position cymbals as there are 2 separate screws - one for the arm ratchet and one for the arm length.
but it is strong, well made and good value.

Space saver
I got those in order to save some space inside the drum room. And I did. They fit perfectly and I moved all the cymbals to those and now I have enough space on the floor for other stuff (like microphones and cables).
Pro: it has a longer arm than the CH750, and it's more useful.
No cons.

Cheap but great choice
I was looking for a cymbal arm for my electric kit that would be sturdy without being excessively expensive. This does exactly what I need it to and it's much cheaper than some of the offerings from other companies.
It feels extremely solid and although the adjustability is nothing revolutionary, it holds everything securely.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an inexpensive but quality cymbal arm.

Yamaha Quality
Yamaha have a name as the most durable hardware in the industry,it's true. Their CH-755 holders are great. The booms are very strong and functional. I have these on two sets for rehearsals and gigs.Simply superb.

Everything's great. Only top wingnut could be bigger. In low light conditions (clubs, stages) can be easily lost.

What to say
Not to much to say about this except that Yamaha build probably the best hardware in the world. I've had most of my stands for 15 years and they are still going strong. Easy adjustment, big wingnuts and they look great. Top quality
