2 handles, 2 speakers, 1 complete PA system

Any location can be transformed into a stage in a flash with the Stagepas 600BT from Yamaha – the PA system that provides the perfect sound experience for audiences of around 100 people and can not only be packed down for compact transportation, but also set up with ease. The externally compact PA system comes with a comparatively well-equipped mixing console, and the power mixer controls two passive speakers for classic stereo sound reinforcement. The 1.4" voice coil compression driver is supported by a powerful 10" subwoofer. The mixer can be neatly inserted into the back of one speaker for transportation, while the second speaker contains a rear built-in compartment, which conveniently houses the speaker cables. This bundle includes two transport covers made of tear-resistant nylon.

PA to go with detachable mixer

The portable Yamaha Stagepas 600BT PA system pumps out 680 watts of power, evenly distributed between the subwoofers and mid-range drivers, and all in a large frequency range of 40Hz to 20kHz. The Yamaha Stagepas 600BT is quick to set up: Users simply have to remove the mixer from the back of the speaker, connect it to the power supply in its deactivated state, and connect the speaker inputs to the mixer outputs marked in red using the cables provided. The 10-channel mixer offers everything a user would expect from a console. The first four inputs have XLR/jack combo sockets and are followed up by three stereo jack inputs. One input also comes with RCA sockets, another with a stereo mini-jack connection. In addition to the speaker outputs, the system is also equipped with a subwoofer output, an adjustable monitor output in mono or stereo, and a jack socket for connecting a reverb footswitch.

For solo acts, small ensembles, and presentations

As a portable PA system, the Yamaha Stagepas 600BT is the ideal choice for solo artists, small bands, and presentations. The well-equipped mixer is sure to find favour among musicians who are looking to fill smaller halls with sound but need up to ten input channels. The Yamaha Stagepas 600BT is not only quick to set up but also quick to adjust courtesy of the master level function, which is used to set the overall volume of all individual channels. The associated EQ regulator provides ready-made sound settings for music, speech, and a particularly bass-heavy party sound. Each individual channel has a three-band equaliser with classic treble, middle, and bass controls. Switchable phantom power is also available courtesy of channels 1 and 2, providing the ideal solution for users wishing to connect a phantom-powered vocal microphone or active DI boxes. The console even features an integrated SPX effect and also allows intermission music to be streamed from a Bluetooth device, such as a smartphone.

About Yamaha

For decades, Yamaha has been one of the world’s best-known manufacturers of musical instruments and audio technology. The Japanese company’s long history began at the end of the 19th century with the harmonium. The product range has constantly expanded since then, which has made Yamaha one of the few manufacturers today to offer almost the entire range of existing musical instruments: From upright and grand pianos to guitars, wind instruments, and bowed string instruments and from drums and percussion to electronic keyboards and synthesizers. Yamaha is also a major force in the field of audio engineering as a manufacturer of mixing consoles, amplifiers, PA systems, and more. Yamaha's guiding principle is to combine traditional craftsmanship with state-of-the-art technology.

Portable and quick to set up

The portable Stagepas 600BT PA system is the perfect solution for three-piece bands, with each speaker weighing just 10.9kg and the mixer just 3.8kg. The speakers can be placed on suitable stands using their 35mm flanges, and the 6m speaker cables offer ample scope for optimum positioning. The transport covers included in the bundle offer effective protection against dust and dirt. The mixer can also be placed on a stand with an optional adapter. All that is then needed is a fancy vocal reverb, and the singer can choose between hall, plate, room, and echo options on the Yamaha Stagepas 600BT, each with a variable reverb length, by activating the reverb switch, turning up the reverb controller slightly for the respective vocal channel, and subsequently choosing the appropriate effect and corresponding duration using just one type/time knob. The singer’s favourite reverb is then clearly audible, and the effect can also be disabled during announcements using the footswitch.
