Great recording device
Henrik Y 18.07.2023
I do a lot of analog live music recordings from mixer whereby I use direct out´s or inserts from each channel. I bought 2 of these and use smpte sync between the 2 of them. So 16 channels in total. It just works. I use the recording setting 48 khz/32 bit float and sound is great. Good high quality. Also doing that I have more headroom which is important live recording wise which is important due to high gain signals. It picks up the analog line sound very well that way. And thats just what I want. There are 2 sd-cards slots so I dont worry about enough space. It also have mic ins phantom/48 volt and again it performs good with for example my akg 414s or neumann km184 mics if needed on whatever channel. One of the best recorder I have owned so far and I have had plenty. Records just as good as my stationary studio unit, the Antelope Orion 32+ gen 3. Its a great portable device. I have the double orca bag and thats where I have a little complain. Its a little messy to put the cables in but what the heck. The world aint perfect either. To sum up. I highly recomend this devise.

I updated to the F8n Pro because of the 32bit. I´ve not been disappointed. I can fully recommend it.
