Great for trashy X-hat

I bought this together with the Zultan 18" Dark Matter Holey Crash to make a trashy extra hi-hat. I wanted to try and match the Anika Nilles Deep hats that are more than double the price. The sound is not the same but they still sound good. Darker but not as ghosty as the Deep hats. I have not used it as a separate crash but for the bottom of a trashy hihat, it's great!
