A good investment for the home/bedroom studio. I got 4 of them (and 8 absorbers on the walls) and I think they really made a big difference to the reflections in my room. I was going for the "dead room" sound with very little reflections and these helped a lot.

They wont save you from standing waves though, for that you´ll need something else.
