Adamas le diamant brut d’ Ovation

Dans le monde des guitares acoustiques Ovation est une marque pour les connaisseurs, en effet nombreux grands guitaristes ont utilisé cette guitare qui est vraiment fabuleuse il faut l'admettre. Ce n'est pas une concurrente d'une Martin ou d'une Taylor pour en avoir essayé plusieurs, le timbre se situe ailleurs. Et qu'est-ce que ça sonne! Malgré l'utilisation de matériaux synthétiques la lutherie est de très grande classe, surtout les sculptures de tête et de chevalet ! Les guitares sont faites mains donc apparaissent des défauts sur la finition quand on regarde bien et ce prix là on voudrait que tout soit parfait c’est le seul défaut que je trouve à la guitare !!
Sinon tout est parfait , Le manche est d'un très grand confort un peu moins sur les accords barrés et malgré la rondeur c’est une autoroute pour les doigts ! même si les aigus sont peu accessibles (non cutaway mais jointure bowl/manche à la 14ème fret).
Sonorités époustouflantes! Dynamique, puissance, projection, équilibre de la 1ere à la dernière case.
Sonorité en accoustique: basses profondes et bien définies, aigus cristallins avec reverb naturelle.....projection énorme!!!!!
Sonorité en électro-accoustique: Top...même sensations. L'électronique ( D.I , Comp/limiteur , Eq 3 bandes et accordeurs intégrés) est très typée ovation sa sonne country music , mais c’est d'une efficacité redoutable, surtout sur un Acus one street 5w par contre les piles s’usent très vite !
Un autre défaut le modèle deep bowl de par sa forme arrondie a l’arrière pourra gêner certains guitaristes sur la tenue de l’instrument qui aura tendance à glisser sans la sangle !
Autre chose j’ai les deux premières frettes déjà usées alors que j’ai acheté cette guitare en avril 2023 je joue beaucoup certes mais c’est censé tenir au moins dix ans ayant une guitare fabriquée durant Covid elle m’a été livrée dans un top case chinois qui compressait l’instrument j’ai donc demandé à Thomann qui a de suite répondue à ma Demande et fait le nécessaire pour me remplacer le case par l’original fabriqué au Canada et prévu pour cette ovation! finalement il ne se ferme pas correctement et compresse aussi la guitare ! Un top case est censé protéger une guitare et non pas l’abîmer !
