Ahead 7A Sticks

I use these Ahead 7a sticks with my electronic drum kit and they last me months in comparisson to wooden sticks on an acoustic kit (though never long enough to have ever considered a diferent plastic cover)... wooden 7a's have really only lasted me 3 or 4 sessions at best. I conceed that I hit pretty hard (though I've never broken a cymbal...) but in terms of longevity I really do lean towards these. I've tried to find long lasting sticks to use for years...
