K
Excellent - very fluent mouthpiece
KenGeo 22.04.2021
I had been working on a bebop solo and finding it quite difficult. This mouthpiece arrived from Thomann and within half an hour I was playing through the whole piece quite well - not perfect but much better than on my other mouthpieces. It just felt more fluent somehow - can't really say why. It is beautifully made and very easy to play from top to bottom, with a great dynamic range from very soft to very loud, overtones come easily and it is very expressive and responsive. I play a Trevor James SR alto and I found it played best with a Rovner Mark III ligature and Alexander Superial 3 reeds. Highly recommended.
