Loving this MPC. It ticks a lot of boxes!

I've used practically every new gen MPC on the market. I started on the MPC 2000XL. So I know the eco system quite well. This Key 37 interested me because of the form factor. No need for a midi keyboard taking up space on my desk, and no need for a computer. I can make beats in standalone, and I have a set of decent keys. Do I wish the colour was retro grey? yes. Do I wish the build quality was a tiny bit more premium? Yes. Ultimately, the colour has grown on me, and the the price just hits the sweet spot, so I'm a lot more forgiving. The free plugin voucher is a nice touch (get the "Flavour Pro" plugin if you make Lofi/Boombap).

Wat soll ick sagen! Plastikbomber mit viel hype darum!
Softwaretechnisch schon cool für diejenigen, die auf dem Ding selber "Songs" entwickeln wollen, aber dann, ja dann kommt wieder dieses anbinden an die DAW auf meinem Rechner und dafür bedarf es einen Teiber. Also schöne wieder das System mit Treibermüll zuballern, wie man es auch von Roland mittlerweile gewohnt ist und weswegen ich keine neuen Roland Produkte mehr kaufe! Das olle Ding machte dann in meiner DAW Miditechnisch erstmal nüscht. Nur, wenn ich in der Pianoroll direkt Noten reinzeichnete, spielte der MPC diese auch ab. Sound war zwar da, ich konnte also was auf dem Ding spielen, aber kein Midi Signal wurde registriert, gaaaanz toll! Da war gleich klar, das Ding geht zurück!
Zudem finde ich es eine frechheit, das Teil mit nur 8 relativ unbrauchbaren Plugins zu bestücken. Sounds die ich jedenfalls nicht brauche.
Solina und Melotron klingen jedenfalls nicht dolle!
