Summary for AKG C3000
Lovely tone from this microphone - although it is low end in terms of price - it packs a punch for the quality of the recording. It provides a good dynamic vocal range, captures the tones and bass nicely. It doesn't suffer at the high notes and works well with compressors to avoid distortion. The only missing thing would have been a cover, so you have to buy a separate pop killer to front the mic. The shock mount is really good and allows you to hang the mic with confidence.

Good robust microphone
Used it on live gigs for drum overheads and in the studio where reasonably high quality sound and highly robust mic is needed but customer does not have enough funds for shure ksm32 or Akg c414 or there is danger od water or falling over. Very inexpensive compared to c414 Akg but does the job well with a reduced set of options. Slightly pronounced highs but for the price great. Shock mount works well.
